MCT Brattberg's cable and pipe transit systems have been developed without making any concessions to the maximum achievable safety. In addition to filler blocks, which are tailored to the numbers and diameters of cables to be fed through, the steel windows in which the filler blocks are placed also make an important contribution to the safety and integrity of each MCT Brattberg cable transit. Embedded windows are available for use in new concrete walls and floors, indicated with the (initial) letters RGB. These windows are fitted in the formwork prior to the pouring of the concrete floor or wall, with a recess being provided for the later passage hole through the window.
Available in: stainless steel, primed steel, galvanized steel and aluminum.
The RGB is a window to place in a wall or floor, or to place a window on the wall or in the floor with bolts. The RGB is available in steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminum. If a penetration has to be placed in a location where the cables have already been pulled, an RGBO can be used.
Tolerance single window: 3.5 mm.
Thickness of material is 6mm, except internal walls in multiple windows, which have a standard width of 10mm.
The RGB frame has a standard internal width of 120mm and is available in four height units: 2, 4, 6 and 8, from 100mm in 60mm increments up to 280mm internal height.
Window combinations can be made by combining different base sizes in a combination window. This can be done in width as well as in height. For example, for a wide cable duct, an RGB6+6x3 can be used: a window with 6 openings with a height of 6 (2 high and 3 wide).
The CCM150 casting module is designed to be poured into a concrete wall (for onshore projects). The collapse creates a round, watertight sealed opening that can later be used for the installation of a transit with cables or pipes. The module is designed for 150mm diameter penetrations. As long as the casting module is not used, a round hole is created in the wall, which is sealed watertight with a thin plastic wall.
