LED replacement kit for conventional fluorescent fixtures
Glamox has LED kits available for upgrading existing fluorescent fixtures. For example, an LED kit is available for the Aqua Signal 1044/1444 luminaires, especially known in shipping, and the MIR luminaires from Glamox, especially used in offshore. Replacing the interior fittings of an existing fluorescent fixture can be done in less than a minute. To this end, the cover must be removed from the fixture, the mounting plate must be disconnected, the plug disconnected, after which the new plate must be connected and clicked in, and the cover must be fixed again with quick-release devices. In this way it can be decided quickly to start using the advantages of LED, without having to replace complete luminaires. The LED replacement kit is a complete mounting plate with a lighting source and all necessary components, connecting cables and plugs.
