EMC cable transits
There are magnetic fields around cables and other conductors, which can lead to induction. Lightning strikes or nuclear explosions are also sources of induction. This induction can lead to interfering electrical charges on surrounding cables. This charge on the cables can seriously disrupt the associated equipment.
EMC cable transits, also known as E-MCT, protect equipment against such EMI influences by leading them to earth via the conduit and thus keeping them completely outside the protected space or cabinet. The EMC cable transits from MCT Brattberg also have the same properties as the standard cable transits from MCT Brattberg, which are waterproof, fire-resistant and pressure-resistant.

Complete EMC protection
MCT Brattberg has developed a tool especially for stripping cables with EMC shielding for the transits, so that you always strip the outer layer of the cable in exactly the right place for transit.
It is essential that the shielding of the cable makes good contact with the shielding in the blocks. In addition, there are also other, non-EMC specific, accessories and tools available for installing the transit as quickly and efficiently as possible.
EMC blocks
MCT Brattberg transit products are used on a daily basis. From experience we know better than anyone how important it is to maintain sufficient stocks, so that we can always meet the high logistical requirements set by the market as much as possible. A large part of the MCT Brattberg range is kept in large stock in our warehouse in the Netherlands.
Normally we can deliver the products in stock within 24 hours if ordered before 3 p.m.
