The modular cable transits from MCT Brattberg have been specially developed to feed cables and pipes through walls and floors. The penetrations provide a watertight, gastight and fire-retardant seal.

The original system from the 1950s has remained basically unchanged, but has evolved into a versatile system, which is available in various variants. For example, there are different types of frames for different applications; welding, collapsing, building in or building up. There are also special solutions for EMC and Ex zones.
An extensive number of standard sizes is available, both for the transit windows and the cable blocks. In addition, it is also possible to have custom penetrations made. Please contact Maurice Welbie for this.
In addition to delivering your transit products quickly and correctly, in many cases directly from stock, we are happy to support you on all fronts. During the design phase, we like to think along with you about the location and size of the penetrations, also in relation to the number of cables and the layout of all rooms. We are of course also happy to support you during the calculation phase. Our calculation program RGplan is available to you free of charge, but if desired we will carry out the calculations for you. In addition to calculating the required numbers of transit products, we can also supply drawings of the structure per individual window. Also in this phase we are happy to advise you and think along about an optimal choice, from the point of view of investment costs, efficiency and safety.
We also like to take your wishes into account in logistics. For example, shipments can be marked per location in the project. On request, we even supply products completely pre-sorted, so that the material requirement for each penetration or opening is packaged separately.
In the next phase, the implementation (assembly), we are happy to help you with free training on location, for example if you have little experience with installing transit systems or if new employees need to be trained in this area. During your entire project, we are happy to provide you with advice, online, by telephone, by video call or on location. All standard materials that turn out to be superfluous at the end of a project can be returned to us afterwards, missing in new condition.
All MCT Brattberg cable transits are at least IP66/68 waterproof
All MCT Brattberg transits are A60/H120 fireproof
All MCT Brattberg transits can withstand 1.8 bar continuous pressure
Protection against jetfire
Protection against partial currents that come along via the cable sheath
The E-Series EMC frames and components provide the same water- and gastight properties as the standard MCT Brattberg system, but with added built-in protection against electromagnetic pulses, electronic tampering and static electricity.
EMC cable transits are used often in high voltage environments like high-voltage substations.
IECEx & ATEX concerns all products that are used in places where explosive atmospheres can arise. Places where mixtures of air and combustible materials such as gases, vapours, mist and dust may occur.
The Ex cable transits from MCT Brattberg are available in three different types, for casting in concrete (RGB), welding in steel walls or floors (RGS) or built-in holes (RGP)
In addition to the frame and standard blocks, a number of other components are required to install the transit correctly and to guarantee watertightness and other properties. End seals and stayplates are examples of important components. In addition, special tools are also available to make installation even easier.
To make it easy to install an RGP and not to drill, TTT has developed the CCM150 and CCM200 in an embed module that is waterproof and made for an RGP150/RGP200.
In addition to standard blocks, such as insert blocks, blind blocks, handi blocks, add blocks and U-blocks. MCT Brattberg also has a number of blocks for special applications, including blocks especially for 3 phase cables or oval waveguide blocks.

Cable penetrations prevent fire, smoke, gas and water from reaching adjacent parts of a structure via cable and pipe penetrations in the event that a hazard occurs in a particular compartment.
Although cable and pipe transits can be regarded as subordinate parts of a ship, an offshore oil platform, a power plant or other installation, they play a crucial role in protecting people, the environment and business continuity. Huge sums of money are invested in skilled workers and high-quality structures and so these vital assets must be carefully protected at all times. This is why omission or poor construction and installation of penetrations in a structure can be considered gross negligence.
MCT Brattberg transit products are used on a daily basis. From experience we know better than anyone how important it is to maintain sufficient stocks, so that we can always meet the high logistical requirements set by the market as much as possible. A large part of the MCT Brattberg range is kept in large stock in our warehouse in the Netherlands.
In the webshop you can see the current stocks from our warehouse. Normally we can deliver the products in stock within 24 hours, if ordered before 3 p.m.
