Based on the needs of the Dutch and Belgian market, TTTBV developed a range of standard articles, the so-called Holland Standard. This Holland Standard was developed to be able to supply a selection of standard items from stock, to meet the often urgent need for replacement products for on board. The Holland Standard is regularly adapted to developments from both the manufacturer and the market, whereby older types of fixtures are replaced by new ones.
Glamox is strongly aware of the need for the availability of old types of fittings and spare parts associated with the long life of ships. You can always contact us for many spare parts and complete fittings for replacement on board for ships that have sailed for longer.

For potentially explosive atmospheres, it is very important that the product is designed for use in the actual environment and that the operation and maintenance are in accordance with the requirements.
Hazardous area standards are not the same all over the world, but in recent years global harmonization work has received a lot of attention and IEC Ex certification is being ratified by more and more countries. For Europe, the ATEX directives for equipment (2014/34/EU) and worker protection (1999/92/EC) in potentially explosive atmospheres are mandatory.
This means that all products supplied for installation in hazardous areas in buildings and fixed installations in Europe must be certified according to ATEX standards.
From the brand Glamox we also offer Ex floodlights and Ex technical lighting

The investment in new luminaires is often recouped within a year, as a result of the reduction in costs for fuel, maintenance and replacement of the light sources.
