Deck lighting
Glamox is the market leader in lighting products for shipping and offshore. The range of lighting products is very varied and applicable to dredgers, offshore vessels, ferries, research vessels, tugs, naval vessels, yachts and cruise ships. The Glamox deck lighting is composed of luminaires from the Glamox and Aqua Signal brands. A specific product group within Scheepsverlichting, which is listed separately on the website, concerns searchlights. Searchlights are produced within the Glamox Group under the brand name Norselight.

Deck lighting is normally subject to additional requirements compared to interior lighting. In addition to a high water resistance class, usually based on the IP67 class, deck lighting must meet additional requirements with regard to, for example, temperature fluctuations and the corrosive effects of salt, which can be considerable on the open sea. Despite this, a lot of ship lighting, which can be regarded as deck lighting, is also used in technical rooms, in particular because of the watertightness of the deck lighting.
