EX zones
DNH has a series of EX loudspeakers especially for explosive environments on board a ship or platform. With the exception of 2 horn loudspeaker variants, all DNH EX loudspeakers are suitable for both zone 1/21 and sin 2/22. There are three groups of EX speakers available:
- EX horn speakers
- EX cabinet speakers
- EX ceiling speakers

Stock: 0Indicative delivery time: 14D-21D The EX horn speakers are made from polyamide or aluminum and are all ATEX approved. Most variants also have an IECEx type approval. Most EX horn speakers can be used in explosion zones 1/21 and 2/22 and have the format Ex d e.
The EX cabinet speakers are made of polyamide or aluminum and are all ATEX and IECEx approved. The EX cabinet speakers can be used in explosion zone 1/21 and 2/22 and have the notation Ex d e.
The EX ceiling speakers are made of aluminum and are all ATEX and IECEx approved. The EX ceiling speakers can be used in explosion zones 1/21 and 2/22 and have the notation Ex d e. There are both IP54 and IP67 EX ceiling speakers.
There is even a special variant of the EX ceiling speakers with 2 built-in speakers, so that both an A-loop and a B-loop can be connected. In this way a fully redundant PA or PA-GA broadcasting system can be built with half the number of speakers that would normally be required.
