The roots of the Zenitel company go back to 1901, when the company started in telegraphy. From the 40s, the company was active in maritime communication. Various mergers and acquisitions, particularly within Scandinavia, eventually led to a market-leading position for Zenitel Marine today, with Vingtor-Stentofon as its central brand. Today, communication is more important than ever. Zenitel focuses on providing intelligent communication solutions to hear, be heard and understood at all times.
Zenitel Marine has been the market leader in internal maritime communication for ships and offshore platforms for many decades. With the Vingtor-Stentofon brand, it offers a wide range of communication systems on board: telephone systems, intercom, public address, PA-GA, talk-back, battery-free and wireless telephony, 2-way radio, infotainment and entertainment. Specialist systems are also available, such as the Master Clock System, the Sound Reception System and paging.
Zenitel systems offer high availability, scalability, reliability, maintainability and cyber security. In addition, Zenitel is strong in the integration of multiple systems. For example, wireless systems can be linked to the fixed telephone system, but also to the fire alarm or the CCTV system. The combination of PA and GA with the telephone system is also often used in practice, which not only improves functionality but also makes cabling easier.
The Vingtor-Stentofon systems have been supplied worldwide to ships and platforms since the 1940s. There are now more than 30,000 ships sailing with a system supplied by Zenitel or one of the companies it has taken over. TTTBV is therefore regularly asked for on-board service, the quick delivery of parts or products or the upgrading of an existing communication system.
TTTBV has an extensive stock of its own, on the basis of which not only can spare parts be delivered quickly, but with which the wish to expand or modernize an existing system can also be met in the short term. We organize both the physical exchange of components and central equipment and the programming of the software.

Products
Most Zenitel systems contribute directly to crew safety, such as the Public Address and General Alarm (PA-GA) system built in accordance with SOLAS emergency systems. Another example: even if the entire on-board voltage on a ship or platform fails, the Vingtor emergency telephone system from Zenitel will still function loud and clear.
Zenitel has a leading role in the market for critical communication systems and focuses strongly on continuous development of new products. From 2018, the company has further increased its R&D efforts. By maximizing the integration of systems and reducing unnecessary hardware, the impact on the environment is reduced and customers get more and more flexibility in both functionality and performance.
