PSI Sealing is the brand name for the well-known PSI plugs, which TTTBV purchases from a Dutch rubber producer. PSI Sealing was introduced as a brand by TTTBV in 2011.
The PSI plug is a high-quality and controllable alternative for sealing pipes, through a wall or floor, with, for example, foam or a liquid gasket.
The plugs from PSI Sealing come as standard as a watertight plug, which is also immediately gas-tight. This concerns the EPDM plugs. There are also four variants. Plugs in these other four types of rubber are also watertight and gas-tight. There are a total of five available versions:
All plugs from PSI Sealing are provided with a diameter code on the inside. This coding shows for which diameter of the pipe the (inside of the) plug is suitable. A tolerance must be taken into account here: after measurement of the pipe, rounding down is done in whole millimeters (round 40 mm per 2 mm round to even figure).
All PSI plugs are supplied per set of 2, so for the sealing of one pipe.
All PSI Sealing plugs are manufactured in the Netherlands at a specialized rubber manufacturer. It is a manufacturer with over 30 years of experience in the production of rubber, in particular for applications in industry and machine building. Own molds are available for the production of the PSI plugs. In addition, the required rubber compound is ordered on specification. The manufacturer works on a small scale and is therefore very flexible. This means that customized plugs can also be supplied if required.
Company
The PSI Sealing manufacturer carries out its production entirely in-house. As a result, it maximizes employment and is also to a very limited extent dependent on the business operations of suppliers. The company has an internal quality policy that is externally certified by Bureau Veritas.
Products
The products of PSI Sealing contribute to the safety of various applications, as well as the undisturbed operation of equipment that is placed below ground level, for example. In addition, the PSI plug is a clean and controllable alternative to filling foam, such as PUR. Where the foaming agents can contain various toxic materials and can also be applied in excess quantities, the PSI plugs are made of EPDM rubber in a predetermined, sufficient amount for the seal in question.
