Marpower
Marpower is a subsidiary of Eekels, with which TTTBV has been working together since the 1980s. TTTBV has been providing emergency telegraphs from Marpower for a long time, previously under the Eekels brand name. TTTBV may also play an active role in the future in the representation of other products and systems from the Marpower range.
Introduction of Marpower in the maritime market
Marpower was launched in 2018 as a new, independent company that specializes in the development and delivery of both standardized and customer-specific solutions for electrical issues, for ships and mega yachts. The products and systems are primarily focused on automation, voltage conversion and drive technology.
Type TG1
The emergency telegraphs, Type TG1, from Marpower are compact and lightweight. This allows for self-assembly of the units by the electrical installer, saving money.

Marpower is a young company that employs various specialized technicians, whereby it can rely on the reliable parent company that has been in existence for more than 100 years for generic support. Marpower consciously focuses on innovation and R&D: a dedicated team of engineers is involved in the development and improvement of the range on a daily basis. There is ample knowledge of high voltage, power electronics, mechanics and automation in-house. Moreover, the role of software in the products offered is constantly increasing, which means that the possibilities and functionality of the products offered are constantly growing and improving.

The Marpower company is a subsidiary of Eekels. Eekels has been active for years in reducing its carbon footprint. To this end, Eekels uses the CO2 performance ladder. In addition, the company develops various initiatives with regard to social involvement, including sitting on the IEC committee for the development of standards for environmentally friendly shore power, the organization of seminars on energy saving and the improvement of technical education on the basis of a cooperation agreement with, among others, the Hanzehogeschool in Groningen
Products
The Marpower products offered by TTTBV contribute to the safe working conditions of crews on board sea-going vessels. Shore power facilities are also available in the Marpower range, which can make a very strong contribution to reducing the environmental impact of ships based on the use of green electricity as an alternative to diesel generators.
