Inelteh's level measuring systems are used for measuring the level of liquids. In the first place, this concerns liquids that are present in tanks or other closed spaces. The level measurement, which is done using level switches and level floats, can be performed with signaling, giving an automatic alarm if a predetermined lower limit or upper limit is exceeded.
Some features of the Inelteh level measurement systems
In addition to level switches for drinking water, ballast water and fuel, for example, there are also specific systems for determining the level of bitumen or asphalt. Inelteh also has a water level measurement system on passenger ships, which has been specifically developed for detecting flooding on board passenger ships. This Flooding Detection System from Inelteh for passenger ships is fully MED approved (MED 2014/90/EU). In addition, Inelteh also supplies high level and flood alarm systems specifically for liquid carriers.
The Inelteh level measurement systems are capable of level measurement based on a float, which is installed at a predetermined height in the tank or space. The float, normally always made of stainless steel 316L, moves as soon as there is a critical change in level, for example perpendicular to an axis or pivoting from a fixed connection point. In this way it can be determined when a tank level becomes too low or too high, whereby an automatic alarm can be generated if desired.
