The sealing system from PSI Sealing, based on the PSI plug, is the ideal sealing system for single passage of pipes and pipes. The seal consists of two equal, semicircular parts of rubber. The installation of the plugs is very simple, no special tools are required.
The PSI plug has four application areas: plastic pipes, steel casing pipes (DIN and ASTM) and in pre-drilled holes or aluminum pipes. The sealing system has been tested by Lloyds Register (including according to maritime regulations from the IMO) and has been proven fire-retardant, watertight, gas-tight and pressure-tight. MED type approval for fire safety class A60 is also available.

Brochure:
Material | Color | Temperature range | Specific characteristics |
EPDM | Black | -25°C / +110°C | Standard rubber for a gas and watertight seal (e.g. heating pipes and water pipes) |
Fire Safe | Red | -30°C / +120°C | Fire-retardant rubber (also gas and watertight) |
Nitrile | Blue | -25°C / +110°C | Resistant to the influence of oil and grease (e.g. hydraulic installations) |
Silicone | Brown | -60°C / +200°C | Resistant to large temperature differences (e.g. in cooling and steam pipes) |
Viton | Green | -25°C / +200°C | Resistant to the influence of chemicals (e.g. in laboratories) |

The PSI sealing system is the ideal sealing system for single passages of pipes or ducts. The plug consists of two equal, semi-circular rubber parts and can be used for four applications:
A range of exterior sizes is available for each application, specific to that application. A large range of internal sizes is then available for each outer size. All available sizes are the same for all types of rubber (EPDM, Fire Safe, Nitrile, Silicone and Viton), these are produced in the same moulds.
Dimensions PSI Sealing:
The warranty on the PSI plugs is 25 years. This guarantee can only be given if the plugs are stored in a cool and dark place, the correct plug has been chosen to suit the opening and pipe diameter, the plug has been installed correctly and it is used under normal conditions. The warranty does not extend to the consequences of dynamic loading, the influence of corrosive materials and/or chemicals, etc.
The sealing plugs of PSI Sealing have been tested several times by certified bodies, including with regard to pressure water tightness and fire retardancy. The compressive strength and flame retardancy have been successfully tested with respect to the respective values as shown in the table below.
Application | Tested by | Value |
Fire (penetration) | Lloyds/MCA, MED approval | A60 |
Gas- and waterpressure | Lloyds | 3 bar |
The black EPDM plugs are the PSI plugs used in most sealing situations. The temperature range of the EPDM plugs is -25°C to +110°C. The EPDM version of the PSI plug is water-tight and gas-tight and is widely used for water and heating pipes.

EPDM pluggen in webshopThe red Fire Safe (FS) plugs are used in sealing situations where the seal must be fire retardant. The temperature range of the FS variant of the PSI plug is slightly larger than that of the standard EPDM plugs, namely -30°C to +120°C. The Fire Safe plugs are also water- and gas-tight. The FS plugs from PSI Sealing are widely used in shipping and industry.

Viton pluggen in webshopTTT offers handy rubber fixation collars for simple and accurate fixing of PVC and plastic pipes. These fixation collars are made of high-quality rubber, specially formulated for this specific application. The collar can be glued directly onto the PVC conduit, creating a watertight seal.
Advantages over PVC collars:
Installation
The adhesion to the pipe is especially important for proper mounting of the fixation collar. For optimal adhesion of the fixation collar, the tube should be slightly roughened locally, after which the tube should be degreased with Acetone. For gluing the fixation collar, both to the concrete wall and to the pipe, we recommend CA glue, for example types 1500V or 1505. In case of heavy loads, it is advisable to sand the pipe.
