Due to the tightening of the regulations from the EU, Glamox will phase out the last conventional T8 luminaires in 2023. The RoHS is aimed at reducing and preventing hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. From 2023, this will also include light sources with a high mercury content, such as the T5/T8 conventional fluorescent luminaires from Glamox.
For all these old fluorescent fixtures T5/T8 versions that are now being phased out, a Glamox LED variant or LED replacement kits are available. With the phasing out of the last series of conventional lighting, the full range of Glamox will be LED from 2023.
Later this year, the conventional halogen and HPS/MH floodlights will also be phased out. It concerns the following series of luminaires:
Spare parts
The spare parts for the aforementioned lighting will also be phased out at the same time. These are, for example, the lamp holders, ballasts, capacitors, etc.
