Theunissen introduces: Axelent Wire Tray
In the last part of 2023, Theunissen Technical Trading came in contact with Axelent Wire Tray AB from Sweden, a fairly young company seeking to grow their international presence by appointing a selected group of distributors to cover the international territory. Henk Volmerink, director of Theunissen: ‘Our company has been active since 1984 in highly demanding markets, such as offshore, marine and industry, offering both premium products and technical support to professional customers. We have very long-lasting relationships with our suppliers, which we try to represent in the best possible way in the Benelux. Although we are careful not to expand our portfolio too thoughtlessly, we have always been open to consider possible new partners, especially when they represent a real added value for the market. As soon as we had established a first contact with Axelent Wire Tray, we recognized the exceptional proposition this company has to offer to the market. As we also saw that the products were complementary to some of our other brands, like our Swedish supplier MCT Brattberg, we started to seriously consider a cooperation with this interesting company.’
Axelent Wire Tray AB is a daughter company of Axelent Group, a fast growing Swedish industrial group of companies offering mesh wall systems for protecting and partitioning purposes in industry, warehouses and construction. Axelent Wire Tray is one of the daughter companies, which recently was converted into an individual company with a dedicated focus on the production and supply of mesh wire trays, the lightest and cleanest variant within cable support systems.
Axelent Wire Tray has a long history in producing cable support systems, with a dedicated focus on mesh wire trays, which are normally used in highly demanding areas such as food production facilities, pharmaceutical environments or offshore wind platforms. Although they have decades of experience, the current company was only launched a few years ago as an independent supplier of mesh wire trays. The reason to separate this company from other production companies within the Axelent group is fairly simple: customer focus. As a fairly small and flexible company, who is committed to produce wire trays that suit our customers in the best possible way, they aim to offer true customer focus. In other countries, Axelent seeks to offer a similar market approach by having dedicated partners with an equal customer orientation. Typical clients for Axelent value a thoughtful routing and execution of their cable support systems, allowing for easy changes in the cabling as well as effortless cleaning of both the cables and trays. By offering tailored support, the customer not only ends up with an optimized cable routing, but usually also saves significant time and money in installation of the wire trays.
Axelent Wire Tray is known for its dedicated focus on wire trays, due to which they can offer a very broad range of accessories. Where most suppliers tend to size down part numbers, Axelent Wire Tray is steadily widening its assortment of accessories based on customer feedback. Although the offered accessories are almost numerous, the amount of connectors and bolts needed to mount the trays together has been reduced by unifying those for any Axelent tray type and size. These universal connectors, together with an unparallelled distance between the supports, greatly reduces installation time. Another result from customer feedback is the availability of stock: almost all trays and accessories can be supplied from stock directly, so also customers in the Benelux can expect a delivery time of about one week.
