CSR report 2020

Theunissen Technical Trading BV (TTTBV) has been actively working on targeted targeted goals for several years. Since 2016, TTTBV has formalized its social policy and has it tested by one party, DNV. On the basis of this assessment, TTTBV has obtained a certificate at level 3 of the CSR Performance Ladder. With this, TTTBV endorses its long-term commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Based on its CSR policy, TTTBV measures its energy performance annually. In addition, it sets new, concrete objectives to further improve various aspects of sustainable entrepreneurship. To this end, regular contact is also made with important stakeholders, such as customers, employees and suppliers. In the accompanying report, the objectives and results of TTTBV's CSR policy are briefly summarized.

Remarkable this year was the shift, at some of our customers and suppliers, from meeting minimum requirements to consciously opting for sustainability as the spearhead of the organization. Where CSR often revolves around reducing emissions from processes and offering sustainable solutions to the customer, we saw that these companies focus on CSR in order to offer themselves strategically. They have elevated excellence in terms of environmental performance and social impact to a solution, if not their convenient. To contribute to a better world, but also because a strategic choice for social involvement often goes hand in hand with success, continuity and healthy profitability. TTT feels strengthened by these results to continue to pursue this theme unchanged with a transparent, certified CSR policy.
