The FL70 series is the new generation of high quality LED floodlights with a durable design that offers a very high light output. With a lumen value of up to 54.000 and a and system lifetime of 100.000 hours, FL70 is one of the best options on the market.
By using the latest LED driver technology the FL70 offers a virtually maintenance-free solution for all high and medium intensity lighting requirements onboard a ships deck or offshore platform. The product design has been undergoing thorough heat conduction and dissipation simulations, resulting in optimal conditions for every component and ensuring a long overall life time. The FL70 is developed for harsh conditions and therefore equipped with a powder-coated anodized seawater resistant aluminium housing.
7 different beam angles
The array of activities that take place on the outside deck of a ship requires different beam angles from a deck floodlight. In addition to more general lighting on deck, where a wider opening angle is usually chosen, more focused lighting is required for specific operations or places. For this reason, the FL70 is available with 7 different opening angles (18 °, 27 °, 39 °, 60 °, 80 °, 100 °, 120 °).
JB and FL version
To make the installation quick and easy FL70 can be connected in groups of three, with one luminaire providing power to the two others. In other words - only one of three luminaires needs to have a junction box (see example below). The JB (Junction Box) versions are the luminaires with a junction box, the FL (Flying Lead) versions are supplied without a junction box, but with 5 m of cable.
There is a single variant of the FL70, with 2 light sources and 27,000Lm output, as well as a double variant, with 4 light sources and 54,000Lm light output. The two units in the double version of the FL70 can be oriented independently of each other (in seven successive steps of 22.5 ° each). A combination of two different opening angles is also possible with the double version. The relatively light weight of 8 kg (27000 lm) and 19.2 kg (54000 lm) contribute to an easy installation.

Robust and reliable
Floodlights can be critical for a safe working environment so they need to be robust and reliable in all types of weather conditions. The FL70 is designed to operate in ambient temperatures between -35° and 45° Celsius and the housing in seawater resistant aluminium gives it an IP rating of 66/67.
