Consilium: a brand with a long history
The history of Consilium goes back to 1912, the year in which the company developed its first speed log. In 1959 the first gas detection system was introduced and in 1967 the delivery of Salwico fire alarm systems started.
Over the years, Consilium has included several brands and products in its own range through various takeovers. The fire detection range therefore also comprises several brands. In 2004, Consilium took over the systems from Servoteknikk, followed in 2012 by the acquisition of all maritime activities of the brand Eltek Fire & Safety. In 2016, the Micropack company was acquired, which produces flame detectors. In 2017, the Buveco company, specialized in gas detection, also became part of the Consilium Group. The broad knowledge of various systems and components is used in optimizing and developing high-quality components, standards and systems.
