Emergency telegraphs
In emergency situations on board any ship it is important to be able to fall back on reliable emergency systems. In the exceptional situation where the control of the ship's propulsion fails, an emergency telegraph offers a solution. An emergency telegraph is designed to relay commands from wheelhouse to engine room, even when all normal systems no longer function.
Marpower emergency telegraphs
The Marpower Emergency Telegraph System is fully operational with only two wires without shielding. This system therefore meets demanding customers who want to spend as little time and money as possible on on-board cabling.
The Marpower Emergency Telegraaf System provides instructions in text and by means of colors (LED). These instructions are easy to read under all circumstances
The emergency telegraph system is available with several front plates, depending, among other things, on the propulsion system present (eg diesel engines or electric propulsion). The changeover contact alarm output offers the possibility to connect a ship's horn. The system works bi-directionally and can be linked to the vessel's VDR (Voyage Data Recorder) (optional).

Inelteh emergency telegraphs
Inelteh's emergency telegraph system, type EET1, is produced in accordance with the regulations of the main classification societies.
Inelteh's EET1 Emergency Telegraph System includes the following:
- Transmitter type EET1-Tx, located in the wheelhouse
- Receiver type EET1-Rx (one or two), in the engine room and/or ECR
On request, the system can contain two EET1-Tx transmitters (eg for front wheelhouse and rear wheelhouse), but at the same time only one transmitter EET1-Tx is switched on and active. In that case, additional transmitter switches of type EET1-TS must be used. Transmitter activation is by means of a push button mounted near each transmitter. The Inelteh emergency telegraph system can also contain two receivers. In that case, only one of the two can be activated by using the push button on the front of the Receiver. In that case, the other Receiver acts as a repeater.
- Power supply: 24V DC (18V - 32V)
