EPDM
The PSI plugs made from EPDM are the most commonly used PSI Sealing plugs that are suitable for all standard applications. The EPDM plug from PSI Sealing is watertight and gas-tight as standard, and can be used for all types of pipes. The water resistance has been tested in the presence of an official certification body, with a maximum water pressure of 3 bar. The EPDM plugs have a very wide bandwidth in terms of temperature for regular applications: -25 °C / +110 °C.

Waterproof sealing
The EPDM plugs are most commonly used as a watertight seal. This is necessary, for example, if there is a pipe feed-through in a wall below ground level, so that there is a risk that groundwater will end up in the basement room, cupboard or substation. In such applications, the PSI plugs are normally placed directly in the concrete around the pipe. For this purpose, a round hole must be drilled in advance with a diamond drill, whereby the hole is adjusted to the required outer dimensions of the plug.
