Sea Recovery has its roots in the USA and has more than 40 years of experience in the development and supply of reverse osmosis water makers. The company was founded in 1979 and in a few decades developed into the world market leader in water makers. In 2005 Sea Recovery became part of the Danfoss group, since 2012 the company operates under the wings of the well-known industrial multinational Parker.
Always fresh drinking water available on board
The Sea Recovery water makers are based on the principle of reverse osmosis, whereby seawater is filtered in a few steps, after which pure drinking water is created. Placing a Sea Recovery water maker on board a ship allows the crew to have access to sufficient drinking water at any time. If desired, new drinking water can be produced 24 hours a day, also independently of the propulsion, as required for residual heat systems.
Very wide range
The range of water makers from Sea Recovery varies from water makers for small ships to cruise liners. Of the various types of water makers, modular versions are also available in many cases, which can be assembled in parts. These have been developed to install a water maker even in very small spaces.
For yachts, a special water maker has been developed, the Aqua Matic Dual Pass, which can supply both drinking water and mineralized water for cleaning purposes.
TTTBV has been a Sea Recovery distributor since 2010. TTTBV supplies complete water makers, but also replacement parts as well as consumables, such as filters and cleaning products.
The key features and benefits of Sea Recovery are summarized:
The manufacturer
Parker Sea Recovery is an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company and is part of the Parker Hannifin Water Purification Group. Parker Sea Recovery is constantly improving its environmental performance through:
- Preventing pollution and eliminating undesirable effects on the environment
- All efforts of the company result in a measurable improvement of the environment
- The individual employee and the working environment are always taken into account
The products
A reverse osmosis water maker gives the crew of a ship or platform an independent source for constant, high-quality drinking water. The risk of contaminated water consumption, which can arise when storing water in different parts of the world, has been completely eliminated.
Maintenance is greatly reduced by good system design and built-in automation. This improves the well-being of the crew, but also increases the service life and performance of the pre-filter and membrane.
Some of the Parker Sea Recovery systems have specific characteristics that contribute to both the environment and crew well-being and safety. An example is the energy-saving Whisper Ultra water maker, which has an energy recovery system "Energy Transfer Device" that reduces the energy consumption of the water maker and at the same time increases the maintenance interval.
