Luminell
Luminell, part of the Glamox group since 2021, was founded in 2010 in the city of Ålesund, Norway, by David Fink. The aim with Luminell was to genuinely help customers move forward with high-quality LED lighting solutions for demanding work environments.
The Luminell RLX series of LED floodlights were one of the first of their kind to provide long-lasting powerful illumination, despite its application in extreme environments. The floodlights were designed to approximate the intensity and brightness of daylight, thereby contributing to a safe environment. In addition, they guaranteed a very long service life, within which the floodlights required little or no maintenance in practice. In addition to a service life of more than 100,000 operating hours, there was also an 80% reduction in energy requirement compared to conventional alternatives. Due to the excellent performance of the Luminell floodlights on all of the above points, the brand has acquired a preferred position among more and more shipyards and ship designers in recent years.

Luminell is 9001:2015 certified. In addition, Luminell holds a certificate of membership of the Achilles Oil & Gas Europe Community, an organization that unites thousands of suppliers based on a common commitment to sustainability and safety. Achilles is a joint qualification system that complies with international standards NORSOK S006 and IOGP 423, whereby each supplier must have qualified according to the very high standards and requirements in terms of durability, safety and quality.
