Onboard any vessel or offshore installation, there are numerous critical systems overseeing a wide range of functions and applications. Continuous and safe operation of these systems begins and ends with a stable and safe power supply.
Eltek supplies a wide range of AC and DC power supplies, including battery chargers, DC power supplies and AC-UPS systems. Eltek is active worldwide in more than 100 countries, with its own offices in more than 40 countries, so that it can offer good international support. Characteristic of Eltek systems is the high output, particularly compact dimensions and very high efficiency.

DIN rail power supplies
Eltek offers 2 types of DIN rail power supply:
• Delta Cliq modules of 3A-40A, 24-48VDC output voltage
• Micropack 10A modules, optional with monitoring for 1 – 4 modules
The Delta Cliq modules are handy power supplies for use in panel construction. Various variants are available, which can handle both AC and DC input voltage. These modules are type approved and manufactured by Eltek's parent company, Delta Inc. The Micropack modules are hot-swappable and deliver 240W of power in 1 module. Up to 4 modules can be built together in combination with a control unit, creating a 1kW controlled power supply.
Compact battery chargers
Eltek supplies 2 different battery chargers in a wall cabinet:
• Flatpack S Wallbox, 2x 1,000W
• Flatpack 2 Wallbox, 2x 2,000W
Both wall cabinets are equipped with 2 separate rectifier modules, respectively of 1 kW and 2 kW, creating a fully redundant battery charger. The modules can be exchanged under voltage if necessary. The battery chargers have 24VDC or 48VDC output voltage, 2x40A (resp. 2x80A) output at 24VDC and built-in static transfer switch (LVBD). The Flatpack 2 Wallbox is also available with 110VDC and 220VDC output. In addition, the battery chargers are equipped with a control and monitoring unit for, among other things, the battery status.
Eltek supplies various AC-UPS systems, standard with 230VAC or 115VAC output voltage. A compact all-in-one solution is the Rectiverter UPS 6KVA. A Rectiverter UPS 18KVA is also available. For larger capacities, the Bravo inverters are used, which are available in both 2.5KVA and 20KVA modules.
The Rectiverter combines the functions of a rectifier and an inverter and eliminates the need for a static transfer switch. In the event of a power failure, the current direction of the DC port is reversed to maintain the AC load from the batteries. The Rectiverter is a combined AC UPS and DC power supply, but can also be used as an AC UPS.
The Rectiverter module has the same dimensions and mechanical design as other Eltek modules and is also a modular building block. This allows the Rectiverter to be combined with other power modules and controllers to form a flexible and scalable system.
Up to 4 Rectiverter modules are combined in the Rectiverter UPS 6KVA, a maximum of 12 Rectiverter modules can be used with the Rectiverter UPS 18KVA. The Rectiverter module is an ideal base for an AC UPS, as the module can simultaneously supply a 115 VAC or 230VAC output voltage as well as a 48VDC output voltage. The 48VDC output can be used to charge the batteries directly, while the AC output is used as an emergency power supply for the connected systems or devices. As a result, the UPS never needs to be oversized and the batteries are charged very quickly and efficiently.
Eltek offers both AC UPS and DC UPS systems. Several of these systems are supplied as complete units, with power distribution, connection terminals, monitoring, rectifiers and batteries in one complete cabinet. Moreover, these solutions are not only based on type-approved modules, but as a total product have been approved by DNV-GL, among others.
The starting point for both the AC-UPS and DC-UPS systems is full redundancy: all individual modules can take over each other's load and can also be exchanged under voltage. Well-known turnkey systems are the 6KVA and 18KVA UPS systems based on the Rectiverter. Eltek also offers customized solutions according to customer needs.

Flatpack S Dual Box
A particularly compact unit, also known as a power core, is the Flatpack S Dual Box, which is especially suitable as a larger cabinet power supply. This unit consists of 2 1,000W 24VDC units (48VDC is also possible), which can supply 2x40A, or up to 40A fully redundant. This Flatpack S Dual Box works with an input AC voltage as well as DC voltage. A diode block is not necessary, eliminating the single point of failure. Up to 3 Dual Box units can be used in parallel.
Rectiver power core
Compact power cores are also available based on the Rectiverter module. There is a 6KVA 1-phase power core and an 18KVA 3-phase power core available. The power cores consist of the separate Rectiverter modules, a control unit, distribution and fuses.
