Loudspeakers are therefore available in many different forms, tailored to the specific application: recessed or surface-mounted, aimed at high fidelity sound or at maximum volume for alarms, intended for targeted sound or sound for the entire room, loudspeakers for indoor, outdoor and under water, for engine room or mess room.
DNH loudspeakers
DNH loudspeakers - designed for the harsh environment. Approximately 85% of all loudspeaker installations on offshore platforms in the North Sea contain DNH loudspeakers. Furthermore, the speakers are installed in trains, the metro and cruise ships. DNH Loudspeakers has the largest range of loudspeakers for industrial and commercial applications in the world.

Clear, powerful and reliable; that is the characterization of the DNH loudspeakers. DNH develops high-quality loudspeakers, which guarantee perceptible messages even under harsh or extreme conditions.
Horn loudspeakers
Horn loudspeakers are very suitable for outdoor use and for large open spaces. Characteristic of the speaker is the large range and powerful sound. Over the years, DNH has developed a complete range of horn loudspeakers, whereby a suitable horn loudspeaker can be found for every requirement and every environment. Different versions are always available within the different categories of horn loudspeakers. These versions can differ, for example, in speaker power, flush-mounted or surface-mounted, or in the presence of an integrated junction box behind the loudspeaker. The basic types of horn loudspeakers can be divided into:

Projector loudspeakers
The range of projector loudspeakers at DNH consists of powerful directional loudspeakers with a high sensitivity and a very wide frequency range. These projector speakers can be used in combination with a PA system or for background music. Projector loudspeakers are available for indoor and on deck, with a maximum sealing class of IP55. The powers of the projector speakers on offer range from 4W-30W.

Ceiling loudspeakers
Ceiling loudspeakers are built-in loudspeakers, for both indoor and outdoor use (IP54). Many ceiling speakers have a power of 6W-15W, which can be set lower ('tapping') if that is sufficient in the room in question, also to save power. In addition, there are also stronger built-in speakers and high power speakers with a nominal power of no less than 60W. There are ceiling speakers with a plastic, aluminum and steel housing. Due to the large frequency range, many of the ceiling loudspeakers are also suitable for music distribution.

Ex loudspeakers
DNHeen has a series of EX loudspeakers available especially for explosion-hazardous environments on board a ship or platform. Except for 2 horn loudspeaker variants, all DNH EX loudspeakers are suitable for both zone 1/21 and zone 2/22. Three groups of EX speakers are available:
- EX horn speakers
- EX cabinet speakers
- EX ceiling speakers
Cabinet loudspeakers
Cabinet loudspeakers can be used in many different rooms. There are cabinet speakers with a power ranging from 6W to 50W, speakers for indoor spaces and for open decks or covered outdoor spaces (sealing class up to IP66).
Some cabinet loudspeakers are suitable, for example, for on-board bathrooms, such as the SAFE-10P(T). There is also a speaker with two built-in speakers, the BT-406(T) A+B, with which a fully redundant A-loop and B-loop can be built in a PA or PA-GA system with half the number of speakers .
Music loudspeakers
DNH has a specific group in its range of loudspeakers aimed at music distribution, based on larger spaces, such as a mess room or fitness room on board. There are also music distribution-oriented loudspeakers specifically for use on deck, with a sealing class from IP44 to even IP66. The range of music speakers has powers ranging from 20W to no less than 200W nominal power.
The speakers shown here are especially suitable for playing music, but other speakers can also be used on board for music distribution, such as most ceiling speakers.
Clean room loudspeakers
DNH has a range of loudspeakers that have been specifically developed to meet the demands of clean rooms such as Clean Rooms. These loudspeakers are also very suitable in areas where, for example, electronics are being repaired. The Clean Room speakers are available with a power of 6W-30W. An IP67 waterproof version as a Clean Room loudspeaker is also available.

Voice Alarm loudspeakers
The series of Voice Alarm loudspeakers is in fact a specific series of ceiling loudspeakers that comply with British Standard 5839. Based on additional fire-retardant properties, these ceiling loudspeakers are especially suitable for distributing voice alarms, including in order to be able to give fire alarms over an even continuously functioning loudspeaker.

Underwater loudspeakers
DNH has developed the unique Aqua-30 underwater loudspeaker especially for use under water, such as in a swimming pool on board. This speaker has a nominal power of 30W at 8 ohms. The speaker is made of polyamide (PA), has a sealing class IP68 and an effective frequency range of 80-20,000 Hz. The range of this underwater speaker is approximately 200m2.
The Aqua-30 loudspeaker can be supplied with a shock-resistant housing made of silicone rubber: the Aqua-30 Shock Absorber.
Column loudspeakers
The column speakers from DNH combine a beautiful design with a practical installation and very high-quality sound. Wall mounting based on a single wall plate with a swivel ball joint, allows each column speaker to be rotated in any direction. This allows the sound to be optimally distributed in the room. Both indoor and open-deck projector speakers are available.

EN54-24 loudspeakers
DNH's range of EN54-24 approved loudspeakers all carry this specific type approval, intended for announcing fire alarms and emergency calls. A specific EN54-24 approved variant is available in almost all loudspeaker variants: horn loudspeaker, projector loudspeaker, column loudspeaker, cabinet loudspeaker and built-in loudspeaker. The different EN54-24 approved speakers are easy to recognize in their names: all these speakers have a type name ending in 54T or 54(T).

Beacons
In addition to all the different loudspeakers, DNH also supplies flashing lights, the so-called beacons, based on xenon light. In addition to the standard beacon, the BS-21, there are also two types of beacons available for use in hazardous areas: an aluminum version and a stainless steel version. Both EX versions of the beacon have both an ATEX and IECEx certificate and are suitable for both zone 1/21 and 2/22. The beacons all have a sealing class IP66 and there is a 24-48VDC variant as well as a 115-230VAC variant of each type. Various colors can be chosen for the protective lens.
