The Sea Recovery water makers are based on the principle of reverse osmosis, whereby seawater is filtered in a few steps, after which pure drinking water is created. Placing a Sea Recovery watermaker on board a ship enables the crew to, at any time, have access to sufficient drinking water.

The Sea Recovery water makers are based on the principle of reverse osmosis, whereby seawater is filtered in a few steps, after which pure drinking water is created. In the final, most refined filtration phase, the still-salty water is forced through a high-pressure membrane, in particular the salt being filtered out of the water. Depending on the wishes and application of the water maker, after-treatment can still take place afterwards, such as with UV sterilization.
Placing a Sea Recovery water maker on board a ship allows the crew to have access to sufficient drinking water at any time. If desired, new drinking water can be produced 24 hours a day.
The range of water makers from Sea Recovery varies from water makers for small ships to cruise liners. Of the various types of water makers, modular versions are also available in many cases, which can be assembled in parts. These have been developed to install a water maker even in very small spaces.
TTTBV supplies complete water makers as well as spare parts and consumables. If desired, we also provides service to water makers on board, or organizes together with its service partners that your water maker can be repaired or commissioned quickly. In addition to Sea Recovery water makers, the range of water makers also includes systems from the HRO (Horizon Reverse Osmosis) and Village Marine brands. All systems of these brands are also available on request.
The most important systems of Sea Recovery, in ascending order of water production, are:
• Aqua Whisper Pro Mini (600-2.850 L / day)
• Aqua Whisper Pro (1,700-6,800 L / day)
• Aqua Matic (1,700-6,800 L / day)
• Aqua Matic Dual Pass (1,700-6,800L / day, both drinking water and demineralised water)
• Aqua Matic XL (8,300 to 12,800 L / day)
• Coral Sea (10,600-25,700 L / day)
• Tasman Sea (20,800-79,500 L / day)
• North Sea (41,600-199,500 L / day)
For yachts, a special water maker has been developed, the Aqua Matic Dual Pass, which can supply both drinking water and mineralized water for cleaning purposes.
