Eltek was originally strong in developing and producing innovative, high-efficiency DC power supplies. In many cases the DC power supplies are used to charge batteries. Eltek has DIN rail modules, compact wall cabinets, where batteries can be charged up to a capacity of 4KW, and larger power supplies that are classified as DC-UPS but also serve as regular power supplies.

Eltek offers 2 types of DIN rail power supply:
• Delta Cliq modules of 3A-40A, 24-48VDC output voltage
• Micropack 10A modules, optional with monitoring for 1 - 4 modules
The Delta Cliq modules are handy power supplies for use in panel construction. Various variants are available, which can handle both AC and DC input voltage. These modules are type approved and are produced by the parent company of Eltek, Delta Inc.
The Micropack modules are hot-swappable and deliver 240W of power in 1 module. Up to 4 modules can be built together in combination with a control unit, resulting in a 1kW controlled power supply.
Eltek supplies 2 different battery chargers in a wall cabinet:
• Flatpack S Wallbox, 2x 1.000W
• Flatpack 2 Wallbox, 2x 2,000W
Both wall cabinets are equipped with 2 separate rectifier modules, 1kW and 2kW respectively, creating a fully redundant battery charger. The modules can, if necessary, be exchanged under voltage. The battery chargers have 24VDC or 48VDC output voltage, 2x40A (or 2x80A) output at 24VDC and built-in static inverter (LVBD). The Flatpack 2 Wallbox is also available with 110VDC and 220VDC output. In addition, the battery chargers are equipped with a control and monitoring unit for, among other things, the battery status.
Eltek supplies both power supplies entirely to specification as well as ready-made cabinets, which as a total product are provided with type approval. The Platpack 2 24VCD 8kW cabinet is widely used, for example, where the complete distribution, connection terminals, internal wiring, inverter modules, monitoring and all necessary batteries are supplied in one cabinet. This 8kW power supply is suitable, among other things, as UPS for lighting or communication. There is also a DC UPS for up to 48kW, which can be used as a central power supply, even with fewer modules if a lower output is sufficient.
A variant of this product is the Flatpack 220VDC 48kW, which skips the conversion step from DC to AC and realizes a 220VDC distribution directly from the batteries, via 2 redundant strings, in the ship or platform. This DNV-GL approved solution is suitable for all critical applications on board.
